Malayalam superstars Mohanlal and Mammootty are currently enjoying their time in Dubai. Recently, the duo received the prestigious Golden Visa from the UAE government. The visa was handed over to them by the government officials on August 23. Mammootty and Mohanlal were also spotted enjoying their company at a wedding in Dubai. Photos and videos of the two are doing the rounds on social media.
MOHANLAL AND MAMMOOTTY RECEIVE UAE'S GOLDEN VISA
Mohanlal and Mammootty have been best friends for decades and together they rule the roost in Mollywood. The UAE government recently announced that the two stars will be given the country's Golden Visa. A few days ago, Mohanlal and Mammootty travelled to UAE to collect the visa.
On August 23, Mohanlal took to Twitter to share a photo of him receiving the Golden Visa from the UAE government. He wrote, "My grateful thanks to H E Mohamed Ali Al Shorafa Al Hammadi for bestowing upon me the Golden Visa for the UAE. Am indeed honoured. My gratitude also goes out to Mr @Yusuffali_MA for facilitating this. @AbuDhabiDED (sic)."

The UAE government introduced the Golden Visa program in 2019. It allows the recipient to live and work in the nation without a national sponsor. The visa is valid for 10 years. In the past, Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Dutt were granted this visa.
