In August 2021, the Indian publication Motoroids obtained leaked images of what appeared to be the next Royal Enfield Scram in the form of a clay model. For those unfamiliar with it, this is the name most expected to use for Enfield's road-oriented Himalayan variant, although this fact has yet to be confirmed by Enfield itself.
The clay model showed a bike powered by the current Himalayan 411cc single cylinder, as expected. The changes included a completely bare look without even the barest of fly screens, which appeared to be matching 18-inch metal spoked wheels, a lower front fender, and small deck parts with the number "411" in parentheses. tank in one or the other side.
While we don't yet have an official launch date as of December 29, 2021, it certainly looks like that day is closer than we think. An eagle-eyed motorcycle enthusiast by Instagram by name @ dr.firozkhan_ saw what appears to be an almost completely undisguised Royal Enfield Scram 411 on an undisclosed road in India. He quickly shot a short video and posted it as an IG reel.

The test mule is a beautiful deep red with black accents including those little pieces of mortise around the front of the tank. The headlight bezel has an interesting brushed aluminum look, and it's not clear at this point if that's the styling of the finished model or something else. Either way, it gives a little different character to the front of this bike compared to the chrome and black Himalayan look.
Ergonomics seem upright and comfortable, with the footpegs placed at the bottom of the saddle in a mid-position. The handlebars contribute to the upright riding position, with a pair of round Enfield mirrors providing the necessary rear visibility. Given that it appears largely undisclosed, it seems likely that we can expect Enfield to make an official announcement on this model sooner rather than later.
