Bajaj Auto has started selling its electric scooter, the Chetak, in 12 other cities. With this new development, the Chetak is now sold in a total of 20 cities.
Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter Available City
Now customers from Mumbai, New Delhi, Goa, Madurai, Coimbatore, Kochi, Hubli will be able to purchase this Bajaj. The scooter is also available in Visakhapatnam, Nashik, Vasai and Surat. The scooter can be booked online at www.chetak.com and can be done by paying a token of Rs 2000.
Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter Features
The Chetak will be available in two variants: Urbane and Premium. Both variants are powered by a 3.8kW motor with 16Nm of peak torque, powered by a 3kWh non-removable IP67 lithium-ion battery. The company ensures a maximum speed of 70 km/h and a range of 95 km (in Eco mode). It has a charging time of 5 Hrs. Bajaj claims that the battery will last for about 70,000km before a replacement is needed. Besides that, Bajaj has equipped the e-scooter with several innovative features like a reverse assist mode, regenerative braking and an onboard Intelligent Battery Management System (IBMS) to control charge and discharge seamlessly.
