First method: you have to go to the post office and do some paperwork, after that you can do all kinds of transactions from your mobile phone . You will not have to pay any type of charge to open it, it is a 0 balance account.

By this method, you can get network banking, mobile banking, SMS banking and missed call banking facilities. You can pay any type of bill, you can also transfer money to any bank account through IMPS, NEFT, RTGS. And you can also deposit money from your bank account to post office account through net banking, NEFT and UPI.

Second method: How to transfer money from IPPB app account?

Download IPPB application from play store and create your account on it then OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. After entering the OTP in the app, you will be asked to enter Aadhaar number, date of birth, mobile number must be registered and then you need to enter your M Pin accordingly and register it, though which you will get registered in the app and an account number will be sent to you.

  • It is necessary to do KYC of your IPPB (Indian Postpaid Bank) app account, you can do it from home or by visiting the post office.
  • After linking your IPPB account with POSB, you will be able to transfer money.
  • The bank account in which you want to transfer the money must be linked to any UPI.
  • Get your mobile number linked to your account.

  • Open the IPPB app.
  • Login to the post office account.
  • Now, here from the side menu select the Fund Transfer option.
