The engine driver got into trouble when he stopped the train without permission and took over Kachori. A video of the incident went viral, leaving everyone splits and ultimately resulting in the suspension of five officers. A video from Alwar, Rajasthan, is going viral on social media. The images are said to be from Daudpur Junction, about 500 meters from Alwar Junction. According to reports, these occurrences are frequent. As the Bhivani-Mathura passenger stops to change engines, the loco pilot takes the opportunity to satisfy his taste buds.
To everyone's amazement, in the video that has gone viral, the loco pilot is seen stopping the locomotive at a level crossing. After that, a man was seen casually approaching the engine and handing over a plastic bag containing Alwar's famous Khasta Kachori.
Due to the reckless behavior of the loco pilot, the crossing gates had to be lowered and people on both sides were forced to wait for the train to depart. Meanwhile, someone recorded the entire episode and shared it on social media.
After the video clip was condemned by the Railroad Division, authorities investigated and took action against the violators. Five people were suspended, including the station superintendent, two loco pilots and two gatemen.
A similar incident was reported in Pakistan a few months ago when a train driver stopped the train to get some yoghurt. An intercity train going from Lahore to Karachi stopped near Kahna railway station. The locomotive's helper was seen carrying a plastic bag after grabbing some yogurt and returning back to the engine.
However, once the video went viral, Azam Khan Swati, the Federal Minister of Railways, became aware of the situation, and the train driver and his assistant were removed from their duties for stopping at an unannounced location.
